Budget 2009

Faced with the task of putting the economy back on track, Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee would present the union budget in the first week of July with focus on ‘Aam Admi’ while providing special attention to sectors hit hard by global crisis.  Railway Budget for the year 2009-10 would be presented on July 1 followed by Economic Survey on July 2.
