Dr Duru Shah

Eminent Mumbai-based gynaecologist Dr. Duru Shah was conferred the Honorary Fellowship of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in London recently.
She was one of the three gynaecologists selected from the world to receive that honour during this year. The two others were from Germany and from Lithuania. The greater honour was the recognition given to an Indian by a British Organisation. 
Dr. Shah is currently the Program Director, Gynaecworld Assisted Fertility Unit (GAFU) and was past President, Federation of Obstetrics & Gynecological Societies of India (FOGSI) 2006.
