fast
excimer
laser
for
the
first
time
in
South-east
Asia.
AMARIS
is
the
latest
in
LASIK.
The
super
laser
is
used
for
reduction
of
myopia
with
cyclotortion
and
dual
fluence
system
and
permits
exceptional
results
with
superlative
accuracy.
It
also
permits
the
use
of
true
wavefront
treatment,
applicable
not
only
to
the
centre
of
the
cornea,
but
also
to
the
periphery.
This
give
vision,
which
is
very
stable
even
at
night.
The
laser
is
most
suitable,
for
those
who
sit
in
front
of
computers
for
long
hours.
It
also
has
special
applications
for
smoothening
surface
irregularities,
permitting
even
those
who
could
not
see
due
to
irregular
corneas,
a
chance
to
achieve
functional
vision.
This
is
the
first
excimer
laser
in
the
world,
which
utilises
three
simultaneous
computers
to
refined
treatment
using
back
to
back
computing.

Mehta,
Chief
Surgical
Director,
Mehta
International
Eye
Institute,
said,
“With
this
new
laser
we
can
achieve
high
levels
of
accuracy,
giving
high
quality
of
vision,
which
was
not
achievable
before”.
